The truth verification of a human being’s statement has always been a challenge, ranging from cases of achieving simple benefits to serious legal cases. However, to validate such a situation one has to differentiate between the definition of “untruth” and “lie”.
A lie: Something that is not only untrue because it was done for purposes of deception! The intention is to have you believe what was said and to exclude the possibility of the truth being revealed!
Untruth: Untrue statements are usually not associated with any type of stress or deception. (Examples: “That dress looks wonderful on you,“ „ I’ll be there in 15 minutes,“ „I earn about $ 5000 a month.“)
